Yue Zhou, born in China in 1993, lives and works in New York. Yue earned an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2019 and a BFA from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2016. She has attended international artist-in-residency programs, such as Arts Letters & Numbers in New York, Nes in Iceland and SCFAI in China.

Her practice is founded on the experimentation and exploration of ideas and media, constantly pushing the boundaries of what the field has been. It has been directed towards the study and continual experience of both person and objective things, developing constant updates to measure time and space.

She is exploring the construction of visual communication through a non-linear approach, practicing content and form, text and image, theory, and dialogue through language.
